Imam Khizer was born in Pakistan and raised in West Haven, CT. He graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah in 2020. He memorized the entire Quran and obtained 2 Ijazas of the Quran with one of the shortest chains in the world from Masjid Nabawi. He holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems. He is completing his B.A. in Islamic Law at Mishkah University and serves as the head Imam of New Haven Islamic Center. He specializes in working with the youth and teaching the Quran. With the grace of Allah, three kids have memorized the entire Quran under his guidance.
Quran classes provide a structured environment for students to memorize verses and chapters of the Quran. Experienced/licensed instructor guides learners in the memorization process, employing effective techniques and revision strategies to aid retention. This course is designed to equip students with one on one instruction and the tools to memorize the Quran effectively in 3 years.
The Quran Ijazah Program is a supervised and systematic approach to memorizing the Quran. This program constitutes one-on-one reading and memorizing of the whole Quran by heart with Imam Khizer. There are no set limits on how many pages are read daily or weekly, this will be determined between the student and the instructor on an individual basis. A sanad (a chain of trustworthy narrators traced back to the Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) is provided upon the completion of the program.
Students are taught the proper pronunciation and articulation of Arabic letters and words, ensuring they recite the Quran accurately and melodiously. The instructor pays special attention to the rules of Tajweed (elocution) to improve the beauty and clarity of the recitation.
