About The Instructor
Imam Khizer Ali was born in Pakistan and raised in West Haven, CT. He graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah in 2020. He has memorized the entire Quran and obtained 2 Ijazas of the Quran from the esteemed Masjid Al Nabawi. He holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems. He is graduating with his second B.A. in Islamic Law from Mishkah University and serves as a Religious Director/Imam in New Jersey. He specializes in working with the youth and teaching the Quran. He has been teaching the Quran for nearly a decade. He is the founder of the online Quran institute, Ali Academy CT. He has over 7 years of experience teaching hifz. Three young individuals have memorized the entire Quran under his guidance. Two more students will be finishing their memorization of the Quran by the end of 2024, InshaAllah.
3 Year Quran Memorization Program
Quran classes provide a structured environment for students to memorize verses and chapters of the
Quran. Experienced/licensed instructor guides learners in the memorization process, employing
effective techniques and revision strategies to aid retention. This course is designed to equip
students with one on one instruction
and the tools to memorize the Quran effectively in 3 years. This course is open for both brothers and sisters.
Quran Ijazah Program
The Quran Ijazah Program is a supervised and systematic approach to memorizing the Quran. This
program constitutes one-on-one reading and memorizing of the whole Quran by heart with Imam Khizer.
There are no set limits on how many pages are read daily or weekly, as this will be determined between the student and the instructor on an individual basis. A sanad (a chain of
trustworthy narrators traced back to the Prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) is provided upon the completion of the program.
Quran Recitation
Students are taught the proper pronunciation and articulation of Arabic letters and words, ensuring
they recite the Quran accurately and melodiously. The instructor pays special attention to the rules
of Tajweed (elocution) to improve the beauty and clarity of the recitation.
Tajweed & Arabic
Tajweed
is the set of rules governing the proper pronunciation of the Quran. Online Quran classes
emphasize the correct application of Tajweed principles, enabling students to recite the Quran with
correct pronunciation, rhythm, and intonation.
Arabic
is crucial for comprehending the Quran deeply. Online Quran classes often offer Arabic language instruction, covering essential grammar, vocabulary, and
sentence structure. This knowledge helps students comprehend the meaning and context of Quranic
verses.
Islamic Classes
Ali Academy provides a range of general Islamic courses, including introductory lessons in Fiqh,
teachings from the lives of the prophets and messengers, Islamic ethics and manners, Tafseer, Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH), and more.
Outstanding Student
I restarted my journey with the Quran in 2022. Prior to restarting, I had a finite amount of experience and struggled with things as simple as pronouncing the Arabic alphabet. When I started with Imam Khizer I was nervous and felt like giving up every time it got tough. But during those tough times, Imam Khizer would encourage me and affirm to me how far I have come and how close I was getting to my ultimate goal. Since starting, I now know how to pronounce the alphabet correctly, I learned how to implement the ruling of tajweed such as madd stretches, Idgham, Shada, and Qalala, into my Quranic recitation, and have memorized the entirety of Juz Amma all within a short time. All of this was possible by firstly the Will of Allah and the excellent teaching and guidance of Imam Khizer. Although I am nowhere near where I would like to be, I am confident that by staying consistent with Imam Khizer, success will surely be inevitable.
